2012Guadalest, Spain // Summer 2012
Saturday morning we took a day trip to two nearby towns. First stop was the charming+historic Guadalest. We walked the streets, stopped in a museum that depicted life in a historic Spanish Casa and window shopped for an hour or two. While poking around in a little gift shop I was amazed to see the cheap prices for olive oil…. We use lots of olive oil at home and it’s not cheap in the states! When I told Carlos that he laughed and told me that was the expensive stuff, marked up for tourists. I know what I’m packing in my suitcase once I reach Barcelona! I can’t buy anything heavy before my ryanair flight from Málaga to Barcelona because I have a 20 kilo limit. (And a 30 or 50 something euro PER KILO FINE for anything over 20 kilos. ug.) Oh well, it’s saving me money =P
After Guadalest we drove to Benidorm… coming soon :)

Love the architecture and white buildings. Neat pictures!
