Parroquia del Mar and Cap Negre // Jávea, Spain

What a beautiful day. We loaded up the van and car at 9:30 yesterday morning and make the hour and a half drive to Jávea, a small costal town. After stopping for a little souvenier shopping and coffee break, we made it to the town’s center and visited a beautiful cathedral that was built in the 1950s. It’s called the “Fisherman’s Chapel” and the architecture reflects the sea. They even have a crucifix made from fishing nets.

Our next stop was our picnic lunch destination: Cap Negre, a viewpoint overlooking the ocean. One of the most beautiful things I have seen. It was so peaceful and breathtaking, sitting on top of this cliff overlooking the Mediterranean. Another amazing reminder of God’s love for us!

Next stop+next post: a mountain top view of the city!
