More photos from the Alhambra! These are from Generalife, the summer palace, and its surrounding gardens. The palace and gardens were built during the reign of Muhammad III (1302–1309). I wikipediaed this. One thing I regret is not doing more reading before going, I think I could have appreciated the palaces even more knowing the history. I wanted to buy the tour/history book sooo bad but I’m almost passing my kilo limit. :(

Last photo and the photos of the long narrow fountains – LOVE LOVE! How about for my back yard? Somehow I don't think I have the slave power to get 'er done. I have looked forward to your photologues and lived vicariously through them! A feast for the eyes and a break from the hum-drum!
