2012Day 3 // Barcelona, Spain
Friday I went to Park Güell, a very famous park on a hill overlooking Barcelona. It is filled with tile mosaics, arches, bridges and gardens designed by Gaudi.

Gaudi’s home, now a museum.
This is a private home that was also designed by Gaudi, I don’t remember the name of it right now. I went there after Park Güell, then found a little fro-yo place called Bodevici that used all-natural, local ingredients to make their Frozen Yogurt. I tried a goat’s milk fro-yo but stuck with cow’s milk, plain with strawberries and chocolate on top.

I had dinner at a great little place called Taller de Tapas. After lamenting over my rough first day and aching feet to my mommy over Skype she said she’d “take me out to dinner” :) Since I’m thrifty just like her she took me out to two dinners ;) This was the first one. They lured me in with the offer of free Sangria with dinner and I enjoyed plate a market-fresh fried seafood then a salad with arugula, goat cheese, quince and almonds.
Walk back to the apartment…. La Sagrada Familia at night.
