I saw this quote on Pinterest and wanted to play with it on photoshop with an old photo from Barcelona this summer. Not only a fun block print and tasty coffee picture (and see the croisant peeping out of the corner! It was a good one! hehe) I liked this quote because it’s a gentle reminder of what’s important in a relationship. In a big, new city it’s easy to feel a little overlooked and I find myself wishing for someone to text me good morning, chat with over coffee, or take a run in the park with. Someone to make me feel special. It’s selfish, I know. I remind myself that a good relationship should be one in which you are inspiring each other to live closer with Christ, not focused solely on one another. Like Antoine de Saint-Exupery put it,

“Life has taught us that love does not consist of gazing at each other, but looking outward in the same direction.”
