2012Rooftop Coffee + #16 update // Manhattan, New York
After my morning workout I slipped down to the apartment to heat up my coffee that had been brewing in the fridge over night and grab my bible. My darling friend Holly sent me chocolate chip cookies that I’ve been thoroughly enjoying so to balance the effects of my workout I grabbed one of those, too. ;) On the top of the apartment complex is a pool and sunroof. It’s been nice and warm the past couple days (shorts and tee shirt weather!) and it was about time I got up there and enjoyed it before it turns chilly. I’m still working on my reading the Bible through challenge (#16 of 25 before 25) , and this morning read finished up Jeremiah, read Ruth, then skipped out of “the plan” a little and read Hosea after receiving an encouraging morning text from verses 2:16, 19 from my wonderful friend Hannah. I’ve strayed from the original order of things in “the plan” but have my own little system down now and am plugging away at it. =)

Ahh…another thing I love about my daughter…she sets a goal and unless the Lord removes it from her path she sticks to it. <3 -mom :)

The various hues of the city may have to satisfy your urge for fall color unless Central Park has some resplendent offering.

I think Central Park may be the answer for your fall color. From what I hear it has many varieties of trees. The same man who planned the Vanderbilt gardens did Central Park….and he had a lot of imagination and loved variety. From the little I know about Central Park….it's like a little…actually quite a lot…of country in the middle of the city….even birdwatchers go there to see different kinds of birds that frequent and migrate through.

Liv….have you been in that pool? Just looking at it makes me want to jump through my screen!

Thanks for sharing life from an "on the rooftop" perspective…Wow…a world far away from the.
green I look out at through every view from the windows of our home. Regardless of the view.
we have, my deepest desire is that God will be my vision the eyes I look through to see life…then.
my heart will be at home wherever I am. Blessings on your day…Aunt Eva :-)
